Ross Steel was selected to provide structural steel for the new world headquarters building for American Axle & Manufacturing. The building, which is located at I-75 and Holbrook in Detroit, was erected under the direction of J.S. Alberici as general contractor.
The building structure features the use of a large transfer truss which was fabricated at the Ross shop. The transfer truss was used to eliminate columns and provide a more open floor plan for offices and conference rooms.
